What can I do to make my session successful? Schedule with us in advance to do our pre-session chat. It takes time to plan and schedule your portrait session. At our chat we'll discuss all the aspects to make your session and Portrait outstanding including: clothes, locations, props, hair, makeup, and where you'll display your images.
How do we schedule an appointment? When we meet we can discuss availability. We do not double book our time slots, we feel your time is valuable. We try very hard to schedule your children's portrait sessions at a time that suits them best, such as after a nap, or first thing in the morning. As much as we would like to think we're the boss, they are!
What is a session fee? A session fee is the cost associated with the producing and creating your images. It does not include any prints, and is not applied toward your order. Session fees are due at the time you book your session. We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express, and your check is welcome.
How much is my session fee? Our session fees vary based on the amount of people included and the type of session. Generally the minimum session fee is $150 dollars, that includes up to four people. An extended family of 30 would be more because we'll create more images with different combinations. VIP Clubs such as our MMP "Baby Plan" and "Big Kidz Club" are an econimical way to save on multiple sessions for Babies and Children up to 5 years old. Please call for exact quotes.
How long is the typical session? The amount of time necessary varies as well. Children, depending on their age, will only last a short time while a family of 30 will take considerbly longer. You'll want to allow at least an hour, but longer is not uncommon.
How many images will be taken? Prior to us doing your session we'll have a short meeting together. Depending on what we decide, the amount of people included in the session, and the style will go along way of determining how many images will be produced. Generally we'll create at least 50 images, but we have been known to do a lot more.
What about special requests? WE LOVE THEM! But, please let us know when we meet prior to doing your session. Generally this is discussed at our pre session chat. Most of our sessions do in fact have some special requests.
When will my portraits be ready to see and order? Portraits from Memorable Moments Photography will be available for viewing within two weeks after your session. Our Portrait Projection session is done in the comfort of your home. With our projection system you'll see your images in all the available sizes. Because of the many styles and prices of our portraits, we'll assist you with your selections. It is important that all the decision-makers (mom, dad, etc.) be present for this appointment.
How much are they? What are your prices? The investment varies, depending on the finish selected (there are 4), the sizes ordered, and of course the amount ordered. Most people will invest at least $300, many $500 - $800, and some will invest more. The finish, size, and amount ordered is entirely up to you! You order as much or as little as you want! VIP Clubs: We love seeing familiar faces so ask about our "Baby Plan" for newborns to 12 mos. or our "Big Kidz Club" for kids 13mos till 5 years old. Membership lets you visit the studio multiple times with discounted packages to choose from!
How long does it take to receive our portraits? Most portrait orders are usually ready in about 3 weeks from ordering, however special services such as canvas mounting takes longer.
Do you photograph pets? Yes, it works out great because we come to you. You don't have to worry about messes or transportation.
Are you available for travel? Yes, we can travel to nearly anywhere. Some travel fees may be incurred for substantial distances.

Newborn portraits The ideal time for newborn portraits is during the first 2 weeks of life.
